Regional Learning Impact Finalist Competition
The Learning Impact Awards and Recognition Program highlighted 25 finalist and 12 Learning Impact Award winners in 2007 at our Learning Impact 2007 & The Summit on Global Learning Industry Challenges Conference in Vancouver, British Columbia
In order to provide an opportunity for more organizations to participate, beginning with the 2008 preparation for the IMS GLC Learning Impact Awards, we are conducting regional finalists competitions in Australia and New Zealand.
The Australia competition will culminate at the IDEA 2007 Conference in Brisbane from 8 – 11 October, 2007. The New Zealand competition will culminate at the Learning Technology Leadership in Education Summit in Queenstown, New Zealand the 5-9 November 2007.
Process for Competing in the Reginal Learning Impact Competition:
1) Interested Organizations located inr New Zealand should submit a nomination by 15 October2007. The submission period has ended. No further nominations for the Regional competitions will be accepted.:
* Only organizations from Australia will be able to participate in the Australian regional competition. Organizations from New Zealand, the Asia-Pacific Region, including India, excluding Australia will be able to participate in the New Zealand competition .
2)
Finalists will be notified and invited to present their product/service at the IDEA conference or during the IMS GLC Quarterly Meetings, depending on their country of origin.
3) Regional Finalists to the IMS GLC Learning Impact Awards will automatically
be a finalist in the IMS GLC Learning Impact 2008 Awards and Recogition Program and will be invited to participate in the LIA Showcase at Learning Impact 2008.
