Want to be notified when a new post is available?
There are two ways:
1) Digest Email: To sign up for a digest email, login in to your IMS community account and enter the forum. Click profile on the right hand side of the screen near the top, choose personal options, scroll down to category digest and highlight all the categories you wish to receive email notification from, then the click update profile button at the bottom.
2) You can bookmark and check the rss feed for the categories you are interested in. A link to the rss feed is on the right hand side (in orange) in each category. The IMS news Rss feed is: http://www.imsglobal.org/community/forum/rss.cfm?forumid=11&catid=46

I just wanted to let you know that we have finally released OLAT 7 last week and thus you can use IMS Basic LTI in all OLAT versions from now on. Here's the full OLAT 7 release notes:
We are happy to announce: The latest major release 7.0 is available as from today! Some of the new features are a course element supporting IMS Basic LTI interoperability, a wizard simplifying the creation of OLAT courses, a pluggable QTI 2.1 test engine and many improved features and components. And last but not least the installation of OLAT for productive use got significantly easier! No need to download source code anymore, just grab the WAR file and deploy it in your Tomcat servlet engine! The new features and major improvements in OLAT 7.0 are: . Integration of external tools through the IMS Basic LTI interoperability standard . Implementation of a course wizard with which courses with the most popular elements can be easily created . Integration of a QTI 2.1 test engine (ONYX plugin) . Integration of OLAT into existing IT infrastructure with the new REST API (beta) . Mail attachments in user visiting card, group and course contact form . Various component improvements: topic assignment, context sensitive help, task, calendar, full-text search, single page, notifications . Improvements in LDAP module for synchronisation of large LDAP directories and OLAT cluster operatings (operations) . Browser side caching of course media resources to reduce network load . Refactoring of depricated forms using "Flexi Form" infrastructure part III . Packaged deployment (WAR) consistent with the Java Web Specification thereby simplifying the rollout of the application .
