Below is the is the second release (20110131) of the draft APIP Technical Specification.

It consists of:

1) Technical Specification Overview doc ;
2) Use-cases doc ;
3) Technical Specification Profile doc;
4) Technical Specification QTI New Features;
5) Technical Specification AfA PNP New Features ;
6) Best Practice Examples doc ;
7) XSDs ;
8) Examples.

The primary changes made in this release are;

a) The document set has been restructured (6 docs instead of 4) to improve readability and to make the information more accessible;
b) Four documents have been completed and the Profile doc has a significant amount of new material added. Only the Best Practice Examples document remains unchanged (the examples are accurate but many more need to be added);
c) The XSDs have been rationalised and have undergone significant testing. The global versions of these XSDs are now used in the online APIP validator provided by IMS.

NOTE: This is still a work in progress and the documents are continuing to evolve. If you are working on APIP, you should use the attached documents and schemas for the latest information and guidance.

The expected release date for the next version will be the end of March.
